“St. Colmans Walk reopened to the public”
Veronica O’Donoghue, Principal of St. Colmans College, is delighted to announce that the St Colmans Walk has been reopened to the public as of Monday the 29th of June. The walk has become a great amenity to the local community over the past few years and has been sorely missed as a place to exercise since Covid19 restrictions resulted in its closure.
Dave Clarke from Avondhu Blackwater Partnership and his team of Tús workers have been busy keeping the walk and its amenities in excellent condition for the reopening. Dave and his team have marked out along the walkway a new one way system to help with social distancing and has also introduced Covid 19 signage containing information on protective measures.
It is hoped that the public will again make use of this wonderful amenity and continue to respect the walkway as they have done in the past by observing government guidelines on social distancing.
