Community Engagement
As Irish society becomes increasingly diverse, partnering with European towns can achieve immense intercultural learning and positive community-based outcomes. Twinning between Ireland and newer member states like Poland, for example, can bring new communities together, while existing partners from France and Germany can build on long-held friendships.
Funding

The 2014-2020 programme offers grants of up to €25,000 to fund town twinning projects involving two or more towns across the EU.
