The Wheel invites you to join us in Cashel, Co. Tipperary between 10am and 12.30pm on Friday, 8 February to find out how you can Spark Change in your community.
What do you think of when you hear the word ‘sustainability’? The Wheel sees ‘sustainable’ communities as being economically thriving, environmentally healthy and socially resilient. And we know that community and voluntary groups are striving daily to become more sustainable and are actively working to make their communities better places to live.
We want to empower the doers in every community to spark change by sharing their success stories with other communities. At this free workshop you will hear about innovative and creative initiatives that enhance and improve community resilience and you will also get access to a range of practical tools to support you in your sustainability journey.
The session will be led by The Wheel’s Dr. Vincent Carragher and Johnny Sheehan. Zero Waste Cashel will share their experience of working to make Cashel more sustainable. It is taking place at the Spafield Family Resource Centre, Old Road, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
We hope you will be our guest!
