The Munster Maths & Science Family Fair is being held on this Sunday 15th October in the Mallow GAA Complex, Carrigoon from 11.30am – 4.30pm.  

Come and see a fantastic exhibition of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths for all the family.  The free event which is in its seventh year attracted over 4,500 attendees last year.

Those attending the fair can enjoy a fun day of educational showcases and demonstrations from over fifty exhibitors including a number of local primary and secondary schools, third level colleges, industry, research institutes, stem clubs and much more. 
An impressive line-up of exhibitors will be showcasing on the day some of which include – Dairygold, DELL/EMC, Physics Busking, Inland Fisheries, Hobart / AV Pound, Lifetime Labs, WIT Maths Week, Eli Lilly, APC Microbiome Institute UCC, Blizzard Entertainment,  Blackrock Castle Observatory, Mallow Coder Dojo, Irish Defence Forces, UCC – College of Science, Engineering and Food Science, Johnson and Johnson Visioncare, Fab Lab Limerick, Grasstec, Griston Bog Project (Discovery Primary Science and Maths Programme), LERO (Irish Software Engineering Research Centre),  Mallow Library, Clever Mind Toys, Outdoor Exploration Dome, VMWare  and much more … there is something for everyone in the family and entry is FREE.
The fair provides a valuable opportunity to discuss with professionals their careers working in the engineering, science and research fields and they will advise on relevant subjects needed to study for these careers. The event promises to be a fun filled, engaging and educational experience for all the ages.
