Getting Things Done is a full-day workshop designed to give Irish nonprofit leaders an opportunity to recharge their batteries in the inspirational company of their peers and to find new and creative ways to move forward and to become “unstuck”.

Learning Outcomes

As with any of the Positive Leadership days, participants can expect to come away refreshed, refocused and re-energised.

In addition, on this occasion, participants will:

  • Understand the thinking that underpins procrastination and creative avoidance
  • Have additional tools for tackling and completing tasks
  • Explore what creates the sense of being constantly/relentlessly overwhelmed
  • Have tools for breaking things down differently to avoid feeling overwhelmed.

Facilitator: Carol Conway

Carol is a lifelong Behavioural Scientist with a passionate interest in human dynamics and a fundamental belief in people.  Her work revolves around assisting individuals and organisations to achieve more of their potential.  On any given day that can include training, facilitation, leadership development or coaching.
Carol’s mission in life is to share information so that those she works with can achieve more; personally, professionally and organisationally. Carol also designed and co-ordinated the Young Community Leaders project for the Northside Partnership from 2010 – 2015 which produced 125 young leaders over five years who are all working to make their community a better place. Since she works almost exclusively within the Voluntary and Community sector, Carol sees the value of her work as being better outcomes for Irish society.
Carol is also Vice Chair of The Wheel.
