Avondhu Blackwater, Fermoy Community Health Programme and Travellers of North Cork, as part of the SafeFood Community Food Initiative are providing FREE Food Safety Training. The training which is spread over two weeks is based on HACCP, which ensures that participants will be able to identify what could go wrong in food preparation or handling and what they can do to prevent it.  The course is a practical based course and the skills and knowledge developed can be applied by parents at home and will ensure the safe and hygienic preparation of food for them and their family. There will also be an element of promoting healthy food and healthy eating.   

There course will be spread across two weeks and will be offered as a morning session and an evening session beginning on Wednesday 15th November and finishing on Wednesday 22nd November and will take place at the Fermoy Community Resource Centre on 42 McCurtain St, Fermoy.
