What can be funded: |
· General awareness raising on environmental issues and feasibility studies relating to green technologies; · Capacity building actions focusing on the installation and use of renewable energy technologies; and · Local projects involving technologies that deliver sustainable energy alternatives, for example, biomass heating, solar power, community wind farms and community-based heating systems · Energy Audits for community groups and enterprises. |
What can’t be funded: |
· Projects with other sources of available funding, such as SEAI. · Work that falls under the remit of Cork County Council. |
Who can be funded: |
· Community and Voluntary Groups. · Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. |
Proposed timeline:
- EOI Stage 1: The call opens on Monday 2nd March 2020. You must submit your EOI on or before Friday 20th March, 2020. If you submit an EOI, you will get a letter or an email with details of the outcome of your EOI.
- Application Stage 2: If you are successful at Stage 1, you must submit your application form and all supporting documents on or before 3rd July 2020.
Applicants for capital projects must provide proof of ownership/satisfactory lease of land/buildings and have full planning permission or a planning exemption at the time of application.
This is a Targeted Call and all Expressions of Interest received will referred to North Cork LAG for approval. All approved Expressions of Interest will be invited to submit a full LEADER project application thereafter.
