Avondhu Blackwater Partnerships’ policy of support for village upgrading and renewal has bourne fruit in the highest possible manner with the awarding of a gold medal to Coolagown in the National Tidy Towns championship. The village, located in the heartland of North Cork has been the recipient of significant funding from Avondhu Blackwater Partnership over the past two years which has laid the foundation for this years spectacular success.
Valerie Murphy, CEO of the local development company commented, “village enhancement is a critical part of our brief.
