Always wanted to Make A Movie? Learn new skills, have fun and meet new people? This is an amazing opportunity for any young person in Mallow or North Cork to get a chance to make a film. It’s great fun, you learn loads and it only costs €40 in total for the full week. You will get to make a film and learn new skills to take home. As in previous years Cork Film Centre will provide professional training and equipment throughout the week. The emphasis is on hands-on film making. Demand for places on this course is very high so if you are passionate about film and want to take part in this amazing opportunity for any young person from the Cork County area, who is really keen on film making, then contact Cork Young Filmmakers now! The only charge will be a €40 registration fee. (‘Summer Film Week’ is funded by Cork County Council. ). Summer Film 2015 will take place in Mallow (Monday 13-Friday 17 July 2015). 10am to 5pm Mon-Fri. All participants will be notified by e mail. The Cork Young Filmmakers participants will have an opportunity to showcase their short films at a Gala Film event hosted by Cork County Council in December. There will be further opportunities for training and screening for participants of these workshops.
