Cork Foundation in association with Cork County Council and Ireland Reaching Out are holding a diaspora training day on 27th June. The training day will take place at Cork County Council, Carrigrohane Rd, Cork on Tuesday 27th June 2017 from 10am to 1pm.

The key aim of the training day is to highlight opportunities for your parish and or community in:

  • Community Activism – Engage community groups and enterprises in the social and economic development of the county.
  • Enterprise – Give Cork a real opportunity for Economic Development through Diaspora investing in the communities.
  • Tourism – Utilise the diaspora strategy to further enhance tourism in local communities.
  • Networking – Establish overseas networking opportunities and strengthening relationships between Community groups across the county.
