CONVERSATION ABOUT ADHD IN YOUR COMMUNITY

ADHD .Attention deficit hyperactive disorder is a neurobiological condition often manifested by a development disability.

An estimated 60,000 children in Ireland have ADHD however the true figure could be much higher.

It is claimed that over 120,000 adults are undiagnosed with ADHD

Until recently it was thought that people with ADHD ‘ outgrew’ the condition, we understand that recent studies suggest that 60% will continue with a modified form in to adulthood.

The support group was formed almost 20 years ago to support families including children, young persons, and adults living with the ADHD condition. We hold parent support meeting every Wednesday 10.00am-1 00pm , except school holidays, Evening Meetings Second Monday each Month 7.45pm – 9.30pm
